⚾️ Leading Off
Baseball season has past, but I keep thinking about how fun it was to watch my Chicago Cubs this year. Coupled with the Mariners success, this season was the rare occasion where I paid attention to the whole 162 game regular season. Though both clubs fell short of the World Series, it’s fun to have a team “in the hunt.” Here’s to hoping the Seahawks hang on and make a playoff push!

Seth Godin always packs a punch of inspiration. His short post, “4 Word Advice,” piqued my curiosity. He writes:
“When there’s a complex situation that feels foreboding, you might need a manual, a coach and even a system to move forward.
Or, it’s possible you simply need someone to tell you, ‘you’ll figure it out.’”

According to the internet - and the internet is never wrong - today is National Unfriend Day. Whoa! My search results wrote, “Thank you Jimmy Kimmel, you gentleman and scholar, for creating National Unfriend Day on November 17. Please join us on this day of self-care to celebrate by simplifying our connections online and unfriending any and everyone who does not add joy to your online, social networking experience.”
Here’s to hoping you and I are not the ones “unfriended” today!
🏡 The Housing Market
Did you hear about the proposal to create 50 year mortgages? It’s fascinating to dig through the pros and cons and consider whether this would actually help affordability and access to the housing market.
There are fears this will drive housing prices up, and buyers would end up “paying rent” to the bank with little equity gained. Others say this will give first time home buyers a better chance at lower mortgages and an opportunity to get into the market.
